An unusual console formed from Travertine over a wooden substructure.
c1980s.
Remarkably done in its execution to give the appearance that the console has almost been honed out of rock.
Truly a rare piece perhaps even a special commission.
Sourced in England but likely continental in origin.
The internal shelves have since been given a white paint to freshen the interior.
