General Ethos

It is and will always be our approach that we are as honest and detailed about the stock that comes in and out through our doors. 

We endeavor to find out as much as we can about an item and give a fair and reasonable price. We have integrity and are happy to answer and questions you have before purchasing an item. 

We openly encourage you to view the item before you purchase it. Please book an appointment to do so. 

As we predominately sell items that are old or vintage, they do come with knocks, patina, possibly even damage. Whilst we believe this adds to their story and their charm we must state that we are not selling new items. We are not IKEA, we do not provide a guarantee. Many items have lasted hundreds or years and should last hundreds more. 

As the buyer you take ownership that you have sufficiently asked enough questions, looked at it enough, touched it, felt it and loved it as much as we do. 

As the seller we take the obligation to provide as much information as possible, honestly and openly. 

Refunds

We do not offer refunds unless it is damaged in transit by us. 

We can arrange for couriers to deliver items but we will not refund items that are damaged in transit. You take the ownership of the item as soon as it leaves our hands. We advise that you arrange a courier yourself and that they have sufficient insurance. 

We do not make profits on deliveries, we endeavour to find the cheapest courier possible usually using a comparison site such as shiply.com. 

Returns

We will consider returns on a case by case basis. 

There is no guarantee so assume not. 

However we may consider either re-selling an item for you or taking it back at a lesser fee, considering that we will have missed out on buyers for the item. 

Please be aware this is in the rare instance that a return is wanted or an item no longer needed. 

We haven't experienced the need for a refund or return as of yet. 

Valuations

We do value items with a view to purchasing them. 

We endeavour to give a fair price when considering we will need to sell it on, photograph it, store it, possibly restore it. 

If you want a true market value please go to a specialist auction house or expert. 

We cannot be held accountable for the offers we give you. Try to set a price you would like for the item, if we cannot match that price and you do not feel comfortable with the price we have offered you, just walk away.
